It all started with one instructor's realization

I run a women-only fitness club, and among the various classes I offer, the one that particularly fascinated me was pole dancing.
I was captivated by the gravity-defying acrobatic performances, and before I knew it, I was so engrossed that I was competing in competitions in Hong Kong, Korea, and Japan.

When teaching students every day, one essential item is anti-slip pads.
During the short three and a half minute performance, they must battle physical strength, concentration, and sweaty hands.
The grip was so important that the quality of the performance changed depending on whether or not the surface had a good grip.

This realization of its importance was the starting point for the development of the PD9.

The anti-slip surface you really want, something that foreign products just can't fulfill

At the time (2015), the only anti-slip products available on the market were made overseas, and we had a hard time procuring them.

"Making something that suits our skin with our own hands" - with this idea in mind, we began developing products in collaboration with a cosmetics company.

"Skin-friendly grip" created with a cosmetic-inspired concept

Grip, durability, security, and portability - after numerous prototypes and formulations, and repeated testing by myself and my students, we finally created the ideal anti-slip surface.

"Hand performance" in every field

PD9 is a non-slip mat developed for pole dancing.
However, that sense of stability and security extends beyond the sport.
Nowadays, climbers, golfers, basketball players, etc.
It has become the choice of a wide variety of athletes.
